Ammonium Bifluoride

Ammonium bifluoride typically occurs as white or colorless transparent flaky crystals. In glass production, it is primarily used as an etching agent for engraved glass; by adjusting its concentration and reaction time, patterns of varying depths can be engraved.

In frosted glass processing, ammonium bifluoride reacts chemically with the silicates on the glass surface, creating a fine, frosted effect.
